IEC Continuing Education
The IEC of Greater St. Louis is dedicated to continuous educational advancement of our members and their employees. As part of this commitment, we offer a wide range of continuing education opportunities, most of which are open to the public. (see Continuing Ed Schedule left for upcoming courses)
We offer Continuing Education courses covering a variety of industry related topics. These courses are offered both to expand the knowledge and understanding of our contractors and electricians as well as provide opportunities to gain CEU & PEU credits for license renewal.
In addition to the four-year Apprenticeship Program, IEC offers Department of Labor registered classes for the experienced electricians, the Professional Electricians Program (PEP). This course is desigend for electricians that have extensive experience however lack the formal education and training of an Apprenticeship Program. If you are an electrician interested in the PEP program, call the IEC for more information about formal training.
Risk Management Safety Videos are available to members from the IEC office. The videos are available to be checked out for a period of two weeks for the cost of postage. For a listing of available videos, Click Here!
