OPEN ENROLLMENT IS FROM MARCH 1ST- JUNE 30TH, 2021

The IEC Apprenticeship Classroom Training is a four-year-program. Apprenticeship classes meet in the evenings from August to May. Each year students receive a minimum of 160 hours of classroom and lab instruction. Classes are held at the Electrical Training Center in Chesterfield.

Apprentices receive classroom training in: Basic Electricity & Math, Blueprint Reading, Motors & Generators, Safety, CPR & First Aid, OSHA 10 Hour, Electrical Fundamentals & Theory, NFPA70E, Transformers, Motors, and the current National Electrical Code.

The Low Voltage Apprenticeship Program is a four-year program, registered with he U.S. Department of Labor, designed to give students the experience and training necessary to earn the status of Limited energy Technician.

Apprentices will receive classroom training in: Basic Telephone Cable instillation & termination, Audio-visual systems/ CCTV, Communications systems, Sound & public address systems, Programmable & Controlling instrumentation, Structured wiring systems, Specialized control systems (HVAC, medical boiler, clock, instrumentation structured wiring systems), Fire alarm systems, Closed-circuit television (security), Nurse call & emergency call systems.
