Professional Electricians Program (PEP)

Description

The Professional Electricians Program is a two year program that consists of nine courses. Classes meet once a week for four hours per night. Participants who are employed by an IEC contractor will complete the program with a Journeyman Certificate from the Department of Labor (based on successful completion of all nine courses). Courses are as follows: 

Electrical Theory I 36hrs

Electrical Theory II 36hrs

Motor Controls I 36hrs

Motor Controls II 36hrs

Electrical Code I 32hrs

Electrical Code II 32hrs

Electrical Code III 32hrs

Blueprints for Electrical Construction 32hrs

NEW Leadership Development  32hrs

Cost:

$15.00 per hour

Requirements:

PEP applicants are required to successfully complete AL modules. Submit proof of 10,000+ hours of “verifiable” on-the-job experience notarized by a licensed electrical contractor upon application.
